Prescription for Sleep
We live in a stressful world, where getting a good night's sleep can be a difficult thing. Lack of quality sleep can lead to even more stress and disorders, and it all becomes a vicious circle.
To combat this problem, the Hibino Sound Therapy Lab (led by renowned composer Norihiko Hibino) and Mission One have worked together to develop the "Prescription for Sleep" application for iPhone and iPod Touch.

Project Concept
The key to a good night's sleep is allowing yourself to feel affection.
Affection can be divided into the following three types: the affection a child feels from a mother's heartbeat while in the womb, the affection you feel naturally just from being alive, and the affection felt from those close to you, such as family, friends, and lovers. When one feels this affection and allows it in, one gains a sense of calm and tranquility, which is the first step through the doors of sleep. Once entered, the energy provided by this deep, tranquil sleep is something you will be able to give back to others the following day.
No matter what technique or medicine you try, if you don't feel this affection and allow it in, you cannot achieve a true sense of peace, and will not be able to get a truly restful night's sleep.
There are several ways to communicate affection, such as words, touch, and music; but the very first experience of affection that all humans have is via sound -- namely the rhythmic beating of a mother's heart heard from within the womb.
This affection is a primal, formative sensation, and the goal of Prescription for Sleep is to bring you, via sound and imagery, the peace that comes from allowing yourself to receive this sensation.
